We are currently seeking a Sr. Data Analyst-Data Platform –This position will play a key role in gathering business requirements and turning them into technical requirements, competitive market/product analysis, data/AI product features & roadmap, managing several projects and uncovering deep actionable insights from data using variety of analytic tools

 

General Duties/Responsibilities (May include but are not limited to):

·         Conducting in-depth data analysis and perform data model design and data mapping activates, using spreadsheets, Visio or more specialized BI and Analytical tools

·         Analyze, validate, and manage end-to-end functional and technical requirements for an end-to-end Provider Configuration. Coordinate and execute for data team.

·         Validate configured provider from Claims, POD and member PCP perspective.

·         Validate providers against NPPES, Credentialing vendors and MCF (Provider details

·         shared by State) before configuring into Data platform.

·         Need to work with Data Engineering and business team to develop strategies for identifying gaps in provider ingestion process to build a standard process.

 

·         Experience with Healthcare data such as patient level data, claims data and provider data.

·         Map data from a variety of complex data sources using a proprietary mapping tool into a EDW.

·         Analyze and Validate Data to ensure the appropriate data modeling, vocabulary, terminology, and code-set standard for representing and harmonizing Healthcare data

·          Collaborates with technical resources to perform root cause analysis and complete remediation of data quality issues.

·         Strong knowledge of Wring stored procedures and SQL queries using SQL Server Management Studio.

·         The liaison between Business and the Data Engineering Team.

·         Works closely with the Data Engineering & BI leadership to set goals and objectives.

·         Interact with different business units translate their data needs into requirements.

·         Participate in project meetings, providing input to project plans and providing status updates.

·         Creates and maintains positive, cohesive work environment.

a.      7+ years of experience Healthcare Data platforms & technologies and knowledge of Healthcare Industry standards and requirements.

b.      5+ years database experience with MS SQL Server.

c.       7+ years of experience in healthcare industry with proven understanding of data terminology.

d.      Clear understanding & working knowledge of HIPAA protocols.

e.      Extensive hands-on an experience with SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, APIs and other cloud-based data services.

f.        Extensive hands-on an experience with Power BI /SSRS or Paginated Reporting tools to demonstrate advanced analytical and reporting skills.

g.      Strong Healthcare Provider and clinical data Experience

h.      Knowledge in Python, R, or SAS programming

i.        Strong Data Modeling experience

j.        Experience in Big Data processing technologies with cloud ecosystem

3.       Education/Licensure:

    1. Master’s in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
    2. PhD or Master’s in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field preferred

4.       Other:

a.      Clear understanding & working knowledge of HIPAA protocols.

    1. Strong appreciation of timeliness and the ability to multitask and accomplish assigned tasks within project timelines.
    2. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
    3. Excellent human relations and verbal/written communication skills.
    4. Effective negotiation skills.
    5. Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP is a plus
    6. Microsoft Azure data architecture Certification is a plus
    7. Demonstrable track record dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in an agile, dynamic startup environment
    8. Experience with NoSQL, Spark, Hadoop, Elasticsearch etc. is an advantage.
