Position Summary: Alignment Healthcare is a data and technology driven healthcare company focused partnering with health systems, health plans and provider groups to provide care delivery that is preventive, convenient, coordinated, and that results in improved clinical outcomes for seniors. We are experiencing rapid growth (backed by top private equity firms), our Data team is looking for the best and brightest data analysts. Data drives the way we make decisions. We love our customers and understanding them better makes it possible to provide the best clinical outcome and care experience. This position will play a key role in gathering business requirements and turning them into technical requirements, competitive market/product analysis, data/AI product features & roadmap, managing several projects and uncovering deep actionable insights from data using variety of analytic tools. General Duties/Responsibilities (May include but are not limited to):

7. Minimum Experience: a. 2+ years relevant experience in advanced analytics 8. Education/Licensure: a. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Management Information System, Business Administration, or similar discipline 9. Other: a. Strong writing and presentation skills, and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences and develop strong written material for communication to external stakeholders b. Excellent communication, analytical and collaborative problem-solving skills
d. Proven ability to document business requirements relating to data needs and business rules e. Experience with cleaning, aggregating, and pre-processing data from varied sources.
g. Experience with data visualization and presentation, turning complex analysis into insight. h. Experience with various data visualization tools
j. Experience defining and updating foundational Data Governance items such as Business Glossaries and Data Dictionaries k. Experience defining and implementing data quality score cards with business outcome impacts l. Ability to document data flows and processes m. Experience working with cross functional teams to identify and define data needs n. Experience with data root cause analysis and cross functional resolution of data issues o. Preferred Qualifications: i. Healthcare experience ii. Master’s degree in related fields iii. Knowledge in Python, R, or SAS programming iv. Experience in Big Data processing technologies v. Familiarity with cloud ecosystems
