Position Summary:

The Finance and Strategy Analyst will analyze and synthesize financial and operational data to inform Alignment’s strategic decisions. For this role, we’re looking for a leader who has built a consistent track record of excellence, can flourish in an entrepreneurial environment, and is comfortable managing multiple workflows. The analyst will support Alignment’s M&A/business development efforts including project management, building financial and valuation models, owning due diligence workstreams, and presenting findings and recommendations to the executive team. In addition, the analyst will also participate in organic growth activities including analyzing expansion markets and competitors.

General Duties/Responsibilities (May include but are not limited to):

·         Build financial models based on operational drivers to evaluate historical performance and forecast future results.

·         Develop and monitor critical M&A transaction metrics, and communicate actionable insights to relevant stakeholders.

·         Provide support on all aspects of deal execution – valuation analysis (discounted cash flow and multiples), project management of target company due diligence, deal qualification, and presentations.

·         Prepare presentations for management and the Board of Directors and provide analyses and recommendations to assist with strategic decision-making.

·         Assess the viability and ROI of growth initiatives including new markets, business lines, and potential partnerships.

·         Establish new processes that enable the company to scale efficiently.

1.       Minimum Experience:

a.       The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills to perform essential duties of role

b.       At least one to two years of experience in a highly analytical role preferred (investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, M&A/corporate development, consulting, etc.)

c.       Recent college graduates with relevant internship experience will also be considered

d.       M&A and/or Healthcare industry experience preferred

2.       Education/Licensure:

a.       Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, or other quantitative discipline.

3.       Other:

a.       High attention to detail while maintaining the ability to think strategically.

b.       Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

c.       Experience and/or strong interest in working with financial statements.

d.       Demonstrated project management skills.

e.       Strong written and oral communication skills.
