POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinical Operations Project Manager leads and provides expert technical leadership to highly visible and multi-faceted projects. The Project Manager is responsible for setting the strategic direction of projects, developing project plans, and driving process improvement initiatives that enhance services for Alignment members.

GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):

• Demonstrate knowledge of the business environment and business requirements (e.g., strategy changes, emerging business needs, CMS requirements).
• Work with clinical leadership on ROI and cost models for complex clinical programs and projects.
• Serve as the subject matter expert and assist in the development and implementation of new programs and new or existing lines of business.
• Collaborate with internal/external business partners to identify business goals and appropriate training and execution.
• Responsible for setting strategic direction of projects and developing project plans.
• Management of multiple cross-team projects with concurrent deadlines and priorities.
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the project, including the budget, schedule, operational needs, procedures, sustainability design, QA/QC program requirements, as well as individual roles and responsibilities.
• Identify and address implementation obstacles/issues as they arise (e.g., scope changes, resource availability, competing priorities, leadership support, low participation)
• Facilitate project meetings, including scheduling, development of agendas and meeting minutes; works directly with service area leads to ensure meeting objectives are met.
• Accountable for the development of project documentation, including formal presentations, for business leaders and senior executives.
• Assist with the development and implementation of training programs and policies and procedures for business initiatives that span business units, such as software implementation and new lines of business.
• Identify non-training solutions to address business needs/performance gaps, where appropriate (e.g., organization design, change management, team dynamics)
• Ensure clinical programs are optimized to meet organizational objectives.
• Practice excellent internal and external customer service, communication, and teamwork.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Minimum Experience:
a. 5+ years’ experience in Project Management or similar field

2. Education/Licensure:
a. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (preferred) in related field or comparable experience
b. Project Management certification/training (preferred)

3. Other:
a. Proficiency with MS Office applications
b. The ability to write and develop materials from subject matter experts
c. Demonstrated experience leading and managing projects, including long-term strategic initiatives
d. Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of highly complex tasks within a given timeline
e. Demonstrated ability to lead a cross-functional team in a matrix environment
f. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as business presentation skills
