Position Summary:

This position will play a key role in uncovering deep insights from data using advanced machine learning technologies and advanced statistical analysis, processing very large data sets using cloud-based data pipelines, variety of analytic tools, visualizations and delivering actionable healthcare insights & solutions.

General Duties/Responsibilities (May include but are not limited to):

1.     Collaborate with key business leaders to understand their business problems and come up with analytical solutions.

2.     Understanding the concepts and building algorithms in the healthcare domains

3.     Working with large data sets and designing analytical approaches

4.     Applying coding skills and knowledge data structures to develop projects in partnership with other scientists and engineers in the team

5.     Build end-to-end data science solutions which will improve healthcare outcomes and reduce the cost for our members.

6.     Develop scalable and efficient machine learning and deep learning algorithms that can work in production systems.

7.     Collaborate with the engineering team to build end-to-end cloud-based machine learning production pipelines.

8.     Minimum Experience:

a.     2+ years of relevant experience in predictive modeling and analysis (can include academic research projects)

9.     Education/Licensure:

1. Current PhD or Master Student in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field with a focus on Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

10.  Other:

1. Solid data structures & algorithms background
2. Depth and breadth in state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning technologies
3. Strong programming skills in Python or similar scripting language
4. Proficiency in open-source deep-learning and machine learning libraries & toolkits
5. Excellent communication, analytical and collaborative problem-solving skills
6. Experience in applying machine learning methods to real world problems with measurable outcomes.
7. Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
8. Experience with data visualization and presentation, turning complex analysis into insight.
9. Experience in setting experimental analytics frameworks or strategies for complex scenarios.
10. Understanding of relevant statistical measures such as confidence intervals, significance of error measurements, development, and evaluation data sets, etc.
11. Experience with manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality and unstructured data from varying sources
12. Familiarity with code repositories, such as GitHub
13. Preferred Qualifications:

                                               i.     Healthcare experience

                                              ii.     Published work in academic conferences or industry circles.

                                             iii.     Desire to work at a fast-paced work environment

                                             iv.     Demonstrable track record dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in an agile, dynamic startup environment
